Warriors complete sweep of short-handed Spurs, head to Finals undefeated
Golden State Warriors at San Antonio Spurs

By Juan Carlos Blanco

The Warriors came out firing, putting together a 31-point first quarter. The Spurs had their moments, but Golden State shot a stellar 55.8 percent overall and saw Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant combine for 65 points on 24-of-37 shooting. The playoff sweep was only the third in the Gregg Popovich era. Curry's 36 points led the Warriors. Durant followed with a 29-point, 12-rebound double-double. Draymond Green posted 16 points, eight rebounds, eight assists and two steals. Klay Thompson finished with 10 points, while Ian Clark had a bench-leading 12. Kyle Anderson's 20 points led the Spurs. Manu Ginobili posted 15 points while Patty Mills pitched in 14. Pau Gasol supplied a near double-double off the bench with 14 points and nine rebounds. Jonathon Simmons, Danny Green and LaMarcus Aldridge provided 13, nine and eight points, respectively.
