RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Lwx posted a KDA of 9/9/16 in Newbee's 0-3 sweep to EDward Gaming in the quarterfinals of the LPL Spring Playoffs.

Lwx did nothing at all on Kog'Maw in Game 1. He gave up first blood to Zet just 10 minutes in, and it was all downhill from there. He held a slight CS lead at certain points in the game, but he lacked any real impact whatsoever. Lwx was on Varus in Game 2 and once again could not stand up to Zet in the bottom lane. He simply died far too many times to really be effective. He got a couple kills here and there, but he and Mor just couldn't control the bottom lane, which led to the loss. Lwx was on Ezreal in Game 3 and was fairly strong. He got the first blood to give the impression of getting ahold of the bottom lane. He added in another double kill in the mid game, but this just couldn't do much to stop EDG as the game progressed.

Lwx punished iG by scoring a 15/4/16 KDA in series win on Monday.

Of the two ADC's who have gotten game time this season for Newbee, Lwx is known as the safer laner and role player. However in this series, he was fearless and able to get kill pressure from each game's start to finish. After playing Varus in Game 1, he opted to play Caitlyn in Games 2 and 3 and netted 11 kills to go with only one death. The team prioritized banning Ashe away from Kid, and Lwx benefitted immensely. Most of the series it looked like he was squaring off against a solo queue player.

Lwx finished Newbee's 1-2 loss to Team WE on Friday with a 14/13/17 KDA.

Lwx put up a strong performance in Game 1 on Caitlyn, putting the team on his back in the late game to pick up the win in a long 66-minute game. While the two teams danced around each other in the early game, the late game is where Lwx and Newbee shined. Needing something to spark a fire to finally put the game away, Lwx picked up a massive quadra kill to push his team to victory. He went with Lucian in Game 2 and was nowhere near as good. He died four times and only picked up two kills as WE ran away with the game in 23 minutes. The same was true of Game 3 where his Ezreal unperformed majorly. He needs to be much more consistent for his team to sneak into the playoffs.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Lwx went 2/5/2 in a disappointing series loss to RNG.

Lwx tried to make an impact early in Game 2 vs RNG and the result less than spectacular. He went counter meta by bringing Lucian onto the Rift and decided to get aggressive early. The problem was he was playing into a Karma and Varus who were well suited to punish his aggression which ultimately led to him giving up his life. Once again NB was down early in the game and subbing Lwx, the more dominant laning ADC on the team, was far from enough to render a different result.

Lwx ended Newbee's Game 1 loss to Invictus Gaming with a 1/2/2KDA as Sivir.

He struggled to really get into the game, picking up an assist in the first teamfight and an assist picking off Marge in the mid game. His lone kill came during the third teamfight as he was substituted in favor of Happy for Game 2.
